Vacancy exists at well known food producer for a Warehouse Operator who will ensure packaging materials are off loaded, received and stored correctly and issued to production within required time frame. The incumbent will act with a sense of urgency, pay attention to detail, carry out instructions efficiently, store product correctly and rotate stock as per SOP. Responsibilities
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that they work within ‘safe systems of work’ including all types of mobile pallet moving equipment.
Ensure that all materials are handled and dealt with in accordance to the company’s guidelines and specifications and are available to internal customers to meet production requirements on time and in full.
Ensure all materials are correctly labelled, stored, recorded and maintained.
Ensure SAP transactions are completed within the Company’s timeframes, with precision and accuracy.
Maintain Company operating procedures and work with the Quality Assurance team, completing appropriate QA documentation ensuring product quality and standards are adhered to.
Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
Requirements
FLT and Ride On license essential
Computer literate
Basic Food Hygiene knowledge or certificate advantageous
Good understanding of total quality, hygiene and general housekeeping requirements.
