Job Description

Brief Description Of The Position

  • Administer all the tax requirements for company of companies in South Africa including: –
  • Annual Tax Returns and supporting schedules (IT14’s)
  • Provisional Tax Returns and supporting schedules (IRP6’s)
  • Monthly VAT Returns and supporting schedules (VAT201’s)
  • Perform yearly apportionment calculations for VAT
  • Monthly PAYE Returns and supporting schedules (EMP201’s)
  • Withholding taxes (dividends and royalties)
  • Ensure that the company of companies in South Africa remain tax compliant
  • Ensure the efficient handling and resolution of tax queries
  • Identify tax risks and issues and propose solutions
  • Prepare monthly tax and deferred tax computations for Group Tax department to tight deadlines
  • Ensure that Group Tax Policies are adhered to
  • Liaise with external tax consultants where necessary
  • Provide tax guidance to other company of companies in the Sub-Saharan Region
  • Advise on tax efficient structure for the holding company
  • Perform all tax related accounting functions
  • Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time
