Job Description

Role Purpose

Provide leadership across multiple initiatives guiding practitioners to achieve product/programme alignment.
To envision, lead and develop fit-for-purpose, integrated end-to-end technical solutions across multiple technologies for the organisation, through inspirational technical leadership and visionary long-term thinking.

Role Requirements

Relevant IT degree and or Togaf or ITIL certification
At least six years of work experience in the software industry and previous experience in a technical leadership position on a project
Must have a software development background and be comfortable with reading code
Previous experience as Solution Architect
Strong communication and facilitation skills are a key driver of success in this role
Experience in designing and delivering a software system that spans a handful of distributed components

Responsibilities

Responsible for systems engineering and solution design across the organisation’s technology stack, from the back end through to the front end.
Responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver customer value as well as ensuring architectural governance and processes.
Work hand in hand with product owners, software engineers, and interfaces across the organisation’s centre of excellence in refining and researching solutions.
Drive the evolution of the technical landscape and are responsible for continuously enhancing and optimising the organisation’s effectiveness.
