Job Description

A well-established insurance business is seeking to appoint a Sales Consultant – Life

To support Insurance partners and intermediaries to market, sell and deliver Insurance products to the target market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NQF 4 Qualification or Equivalent Qualification (1 Year) and FAIS Representative
  • B Com (Accounting/Insurance) or equivalent”

Critical Competencies

  • Advanced Microsoft Office
  • Ability to navigate FSCA site and verify intermediary credentials
  • Knowledge and understanding of the insurance products and services available to the agricultural industry to stay abreast of the industry with attractive agricultural insurance products and services
  • Knowledge and understanding of the elements and instruments utilised in sound financial planning activities
  • Knowledge of Short term and long term insurance industry
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to insurance companies such as FAIS Act, Short and long term Insurance Acts, Insurance Acts
  • Marketing skills: The business activity of presenting products or services in such a way as to make them desirable
