Job Description
Our client in the textile industry sector, based in Port Elizabeth,is looking to employ a Sales and Business Development consultant that will oversee both the local as well as the global market sales markets.
Attention to detail and specifically attention to colour / colour palettes is critical (must be able to see differences in shades).

Requirements
- This is the Sales position and the incumbent will be the ‘face of the company’ at both our international and local suppliers / clients; viz. Italy, Norway, Germany as well as any new markets.
- The person should have studied Sales or Marketing related and if there is some sort of technical experience it would be an advantage.
- Must be able to talk and communicate with people from different cultures as most of our customers are overseas based.
- Able to cold-canvas new overseas business as well as local customers.
- Sales experience essential.
- High EQ and while the position calls for a self-motivated person, they should also be considered.
- Have initiative, be able to make plans and keep track of daily activities in relation to overall target and strategy.
- Flexible to change and a solution driven person.
- Must be able to work in teams; viz. be a team player.
- Focus on growing our current customer base and increasing their spend.
- Good numerously skills to cost deals with exchange rate variations.
- Attention to detail and specifically to colour is critical (must be able to see differences in shades).
- Having a creative / artistic flair could be an advantage.
- The ideal age profile is indicated at 25 -32.
