Job Description

Establishing and implementing bespoke sales strategies directed to defined markets i.e. cash and Value Added Products (VAP’s). Setting sales targets and driving, tracking and enabling the achievement of sales targets toward increased sales, aligned to set requirements at profitable levels. Working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure that cash and VAPs sales are effectively promoted and delivered to customers as per defined process and liaising with relevant stakeholders in relation to key partnerships within the business and broader organisation to achieve the strategic objective for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Cash Desk Team Leader to enable market and sales growth objectives through monitoring, influencing and directing activities of marketing, pricing and consumer / 0rganisation behaviour.
  • Track and report on KPI success measures by collecting, analyzing and interpreting summarized data and trends
  • Map and continuously improve the cash sales and VAP journey from lead to fitment, by engaging with relevant stakeholders so as to improve efficacy in the cash customers journey and to increase VAP sales
  • Ensure cash and VAP sales market growth in accordance with the business strategy by monitoring and engaging with the PG Glass Network, identify gaps as well as finding and implementing solutions toward trend impacts.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for new and innovative projects so as to drive innovation and facilitate change management
  • Ensuring continuous business growth and sales efficiency of PG Glass by bringing together relevant stakeholders i.e. Marketing, Operations including Fitment Centres and Sales Department, to achieve the strategic objectives of the applicable departments.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department and contribute to the relevant advertising campaigns in order to ensure that the Marketing Strategy supports cash and VAP sales growth and improved cash leads generation while self-correcting when market trends / changes requires..
  • Ensure that the Company remains competitive in the cash market by performing sales pricing surveys and analysis thereby enabling optimum pricing and retail specific, customer centric behaviours.
  • Coordinate , project manage and execute as the Company liaison between relevant stakeholders and business, leveraging available opportunities within the partnership (eg TWT) to maximise value to all stakeholders, maximise sales opportunities and sales in turn contributing towards strong partnerships, Brand building and profitability of the Company.

Requirements

Qualification

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Commercial Degree (sales beneficial)

Knowledge

  • Cash sales value chain

Experience

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience (Retail Preferably)
