Role overview

This role supports the Project Management Office team to provide project administrative support to the project management teams and is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts. This role is based at Mutualpark, Cape Town.

Key Result Areas

• Supports project office clients, for example provides consultation to client regarding work processes.
• Maintains control of project initiation, ensures that only properly authorised projects are initiated.
• Logs all projects and updates statuses to the point where they become the responsibility of a project manager.
• Provides ongoing analysis and reporting to project managers, concerned parties and clients.
• Assists various project teams with the administrative load of projects (defined by project methodology requirements).
• Assists in arranging workshops and captures workshop information into the appropriate templates.
• Attends project meetings in order to take minutes.
• Assists in the updating of project plans.

Requirements, Qualifications And Experience Required

• Matric/ Grade 12
• 3 years in a Transactional Agreement process role, end to end essential.
• Experience in Project Management Office is advantageous.
• Computer literacy skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and the ability to do pivot tables, macros, excel formulae is essential.
• Experience in creating and formatting documents to provide a professional finish.
• Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal and team results.
• Experience working in a customer service environment and exposure to dealing with conflicting priorities and client requests is essential.
• Ability to work with data, analyse data and display data / information in creative and meaningful ways.
• Ability to handle a constantly changing environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies/ applications.
• Excellent inter-personal skills, including influencing skills.
• Strong planning & organisation skills is essential.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Solution-driven, passionate and energetic.
• Possess a strong sense of ownership and initiative as well as a proactive mindset.
• Work effectively in a team.
• Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of 3 months.
