Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our client’s team as a Hunter Telesales/Lead Generation Specialist. As an industry leader within the digital printing space, our client offers a comprehensive service portfolio catering to diverse printing needs, including digital, retail, and textile printing. With their expertise in business cards, window displays, and canvas printing, they have earned a reputation for delivering high-quality printing solutions.
As the Hunter Telesales/Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our client’s business. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, and nurturing relationships with potential clients across various industries. Your primary focus will be on initiating outbound sales calls, conducting prospecting activities, and securing appointments for the sales team.
Responsibilities
Prospect and identify potential clients who can benefit from our client’s digital printing solutions.
Conduct outbound sales calls to key decision-makers, introducing our client’s services and showcasing the value proposition.
Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of our client’s printing solutions.
Qualify leads and gather relevant information to determine potential business opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through effective lead-generation strategies.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to schedule appointments and provide detailed background information on qualified leads.
Develop and implement targeted sales campaigns to generate interest and drive lead conversion.
Utilize CRM software to track, manage, and update lead information and sales activities accurately.
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify new selling opportunities.
Achieve and exceed individual and team targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
Requirements
Proven track record in telesales or lead generation, preferably within the printing industry or related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively over the phone and build rapport with potential clients.
Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of our client’s printing solutions.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with a determination to meet and exceed sales goals.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using sales tools for lead management and tracking.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Knowledge of the digital printing industry and understanding of printing processes and techniques is a plus.
A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
South African market knowledge and familiarity with key industries and potential clients is an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification
Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Business Development – Not essential but highly beneficial
1-3 years in Lead Generation – Sales
1-3 years experience in the printing/signage industry (Large Format | FMCG | Corporate wear) – **Will be beneficial**
