As a Junior Pre-Press Operator, you will work closely with our experienced pre-press team to prepare digital artwork files for the flexographic printing process. - Assist in preflighting and preparing customer-provided artwork files for production.
- Conduct colour separations, trapping, and file manipulation to optimize print quality.
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of pre-press equipment.
- Collaborate with designers and production staff to resolve any technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of jobs, materials used, and any technical specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pre-press technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of flexographic printing and pre-press processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard pre-press software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with colour management principles and experience in colour correction.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
