Job Description

Primary Purpose
Support for all IT systems that Wilderness uses. This includes software as well as hardware.

This position can be based in either Johannesburg or Cape Town.

Detailed Responsibilities

Provide all staff with quick efficient and accurate support when required to do so.
To ensure that all staff are able to perform their work functions.
To increase staff productivity where possible.
To ensure effective electronic communication with suppliers, customers and the different regions within Wilderness.
To ensure that hardware is effectively incorporated into the current system without causing any downtime or unwanted reactions.
Be involved in the design, implementation and maintenance of electronic mail systems and giving support to designers of the system and managing certain aspects of the systems.
Be involved in building, installing and setting up of servers, laptops and desktops.
Regional IT support.
Active directory design and maintenance.
To protect sensitive data, give users access to resources on the network.
Compliment mail distribution system.
Compliment reservations systems

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Qualification

BSC Computer Science or equivalent.
An understanding networking and Microsoft Systems.

Experience

Experience in handling customer relationships and developing and promoting customer satisfaction.

Skills

Team worker with the ability to interface with staff and third parties.
Passionate and creative in service offering, dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Service and result orientated.
Self-Starter with high energy levels.
Accuracy in service offering.
Problem solver, organised, methodical, Systems based and good time management skills.
Ability to work with detail whilst under pressure and takes pride in maintaining zero error.
