Job Description

  • Provide a consultation and advisory service to management and line functionaries with regards to recruitment, selection and placement
  • Involvement in formulating sourcing strategies based on the recruiting targets and budget, ensuring that it is in line with the departmental strategy
  • Collaborating with business partners to understand recruiting demand, resource
  • planning process, marketing messages and share best practices
  • Promote the Employment Equity Policy of the company in all recruitment interventions
  • Proactively search, interview and recruit talent in the market place
  • Adherence to Recruiting Service Level Agreements to meet recruiting deliverables.
  • Manage advert release processes
  • Assist the department in identifying and managing various sourcing channels and aligning to current and future recruitment demands
  • Posting jobs on the job boards, internet sites, forums, directories etc. as per strategy.
  • Establish contacts and networks internally and externally
  • Capitalise on brand activity to create awareness
  • Continuous research and identifying latest trends in leading businesses
  • Maintain a continuous communication with shortlisted candidates
  • Developing contacts for viable pipeline(current and future opportunities) from database and research findings
  • Use keep warm tactics on candidates identified as talent
  • Manage and facilitate processes for interviews, offers, verification of qualifications, confirmation of citizenship, credit and criminal checks as well as security clearances, and pre-employment and on-boarding
  • Manage Temp and Contractor requirements to meet client needs in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Facilitate administration processes for offers, verification of qualifications, confirmation of citizenship, credit and criminal checks as well as security clearances, and pre-employment on-boarding
  • Update and maintain candidate information database
  • Consistently monitoring quality, quantity, costs, turnaround times and market intelligence;
  • Develop and compile policy directives, notices, correspondence and statistics on monthly basis.
  • Effective implementation of projects according to requirements
  • Represent HR Recruitment Unit in meetings, working groups and other forum
