Job Description

A detailed-oriented individual is being sought by a company in the automotive industry for their impact fund, to fill their Fund Administration Assistant position. The role will involve carrying out diverse administrative duties, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations, and aiding in fund reporting endeavours. The perfect candidate should possess exceptional organisational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a firm grasp of fund administration procedures. Candidates are required to have a Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field. This position is based full-time in Pretoria.


  • Support the day-to-day operations of fund administration by maintaining records, updating databases, and organising documentation.
  • Aid the team in preparing and reviewing investor documents
  • Coordinate fund valuations, ensuring accurate and timely calculations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to gather and validate data for reporting purposes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports, including financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings
  • Assist in coordinating fund audits and serve as a liaison with auditors as necessary
  • Address inquiries and provide assistance to investors, delivering a high level of customer service
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in fund administration
  • Scheduling of meetings, drafting agendas, booking of boardrooms, arranging refreshments
  • Making travel arrangements
  • Following up on submissions from investees
  • Consolidating reports from investees
  • Drafting and maintaining a risk register
  • Managing the diary of the CEO
  • Good planning skills
  • Project management experience will be an advantage


  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, administration or a related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investment fund operations, regulations, and industry standards
  • Exceptional organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy in data management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for investment funds
  • Competent in the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
