Job Description

Our national client has a opening for a experienced Customer Relationship Liaison to join the Johannesburg team

  • Develop and implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyse customer feedback and use it to advise the various teams of how to improve products and services.
  • Manage customer databases and keep accurate records of all customer interactions.
  • Create job cards for service, maintenance, or equipment queries.
  • Provide monthly reports on the various customer queries or complaints and facilitating the close out of those.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, including sales, technical support, and equipment maintenance and installation teams.
  • Identify and isolate critical queries to direct to the support teams for escalation and timeous resolution.
  • Create and maintain a customer service manual to ensure consistent service across all teams.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and work to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for customer service.


  • Grade 12
  • Bachelors Degree in Business / Marketing or related
  • Minimum 3 years experience in customer service or public relations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word and Excel) and customer service software at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Experience in the optometric or healthcare industry an advantage.
