Join Lesedi Nuclear Services as we embark on an exciting new chapter of our journey, marking the transition to new leadership with the imminent retirement of our esteemed CEO and founder, who has dedicated over 20 years of outstanding service to our company. As the CEO, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the company, ensuring operational excellence, and spearheading growth initiatives in the energy engineering industry. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a compelling strategic vision to position Lesedi as a leader in the energy engineering industry and plans in place for the achievement of Lesedi’s goals.
• Leading transformation to drive change, foster diversity and inclusion. Inspire a talented team of people, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficient and effective execution of business activities. This includes managing resources, optimising resources and processes and implementing operational best practises.
• Monitor financial performance and oversee budgeting and reporting processes. Increasing profitability. Ensuring financial health and growth, and making decisions regarding investments, mergers and acquisitions.
• Manage risk, ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards as well as corporate governance.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging opportunities to maintain our competitive edge.
• Drive business development efforts, establishing and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Represent Lesedi in industry forums, conferences, and engagements, enhancing our brand and reputation.

REQUIREMENTS
Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as engineering
• Preferred and highly advantageous in addition to the above:
• Advanced studies / postgraduate qualification in management, business administration, finance, or a related discipline.
• Additional industry-specific education or training such as specialised certifications

Experience

• 10 to 20 years of relevant working experience in the energy engineering industry of which at least 10 years demonstrable senior management / executive level experience.

(Years of experience will be assessed considering factors such as the industry, previous role, professional experience and track record of leadership and achievement)
Knowledge, Skills And Behaviours

• Proven track record of successful senior / executive leadership within the energy engineering industry or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of nuclear and industrial engineering, oil and gas, project management, and industry regulations.
• Have a deep understanding of the energy industry landscape, trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
• Proven knowledge and understanding of profit and loss (P&L) management.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, inspiring and motivating teams to achieve their full potential.
• Visionary thinking, with the ability to identify and seize new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated resilience and adaptability to navigate a complex and dynamic industry landscape.
• Ethical conduct and commitment to safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
