Job Description

Business Development Representative

Remote hours: 3pm-11pm SA Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Business Development Representative to join our client based in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, setting up appointments for our sales representatives, conducting software demos, and engaging potential clients. This is a full-time position with US hours.


  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including online research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Qualify leads and gather relevant information to determine their suitability for our products or services.
  • Set up appointments and coordinate schedules for sales representatives to ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Conduct software demos to showcase our products and services to potential clients.
  • Communicate effectively with potential clients, understanding their needs and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any issues or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads and provide timely updates on prospects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and appointment setting.


  • Proven experience in business development, lead generation, or sales support roles.
  • Demonstrated success in setting up appointments and generating qualified leads.
  • Experience in conducting software demos or presentations to potential clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work remotely and maintain a productive and professional work environment.
  • Availability to work full-time during US hours to accommodate client needs and collaborate effectively with the sales team.
