Leading medical device company based in Sandton requires an experienced balance sheet Bookkeeper.
Matric and BCom or Diploma in Finance / Accounting
Pastel Evolution is essential
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Minimum 10 years’ finance experience to include 4 -5 years experience as a Balance Sheet Bookkeeper
Updating, posting, and reconciling all Bank accounts
Monitor, capture and update debit orders in Cash book and schedules
Debtors Finance bimonthly – Back-up
Debtors Finance – Reconciliation – month end
Processing of monthly Provisions, Accruals and Depreciation journals
Process and post Creditors Payment batches
Maintain an accurate register and issuing of all Assets in the Company as per the manual of procedures
Insurance – Compare monthly debit order deducted is according to policy endorsement and update worksheet
Ensure that additions and deletions of assets are correctly adjusted on the policy
Record keeping of assets issued to staff
Record Incident reports and manage Insurance claim – Assets excluding Motor Vehicles
Handle Petty cash & Cleaner’s overtime
Balancing of all inter-co loan accounts
Reconcile Balance Sheet general ledger accounts
Reconcile and prepare VAT reconciliation
Daily, monthly balancing & month end (Back-up)
Sales & marketing balancing & non-sales budget
Follow all policies and procedures of the Company
General back-up for the Finance department as and when required, including the following but not limited to:
