BD Manager/Transactor Business Development ~ Finance
Cape Town South-Western Cape ~ Cape Town North-Western Cape
Business Development Managers are responsible for developing and executing strategies that help their company grow. This is someone who can identify, reach out, negotiate and manage the end-to-end process of business development opportunities in line with New Business Development objectives of maximising market share, sales and operating profitability through M&As, in-licensing, JV opportunities and strategic partnerships for our client then this might just be for you.
Our client is a leader in the pharmaceutical industry and offers an environment of a highly skilled global workforce, with an unwavering commitment to excellence.
We are looking for someone with a Business or Science undergraduate degree, or a Post-Graduate Degree. Experience with a minimum of 4 to 6 years in a deal-making role at the analyst and associate level. Specifically with experience in Coverage/business development, deal structuring, modelling and valuations and Legal drafting and negotiations.
Your day-to-day function involves Acquisitions & License Deals, Deal Execution, In-market management & Reporting and interactions with key internal and external stakeholders. Your combination of reaching across all areas of the business and your knowledge of 3P invoices and processes, managing pipeline and trackers (incl. license fee schedule) and roadshow planning and logistics.
