Job Description

We are currently on a search for a HR/Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team, the main purpose of the role is to manage and co-ordinate the functions of the Wages Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate and timeous payment of weekly wages.
• Daily, weekly and monthly management reports are delivered as per deadlines.
• Payments to third parties and garnishees are reconciled and paid on time.
• Annual processes and statutory returns are completed accurately and as per specified deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with income tax laws and advise management regarding compliance with other payroll related legislation.
• Support the effective time management of employees by managing the time and attendance system (Peopleware).
• Manage payroll data integrity by auditing and verifying information captured on the payroll to ensure the payroll meets auditing requirements.
• Support Line Management by producing time and attendance and payroll reports by the specified deadlines.
• Manage third party and garnishee payment data integrity by auditing and verifying information captured on the payroll to ensure the deductions meet deduction accuracy requirements.
• Payroll projects.
• Annual shutdown procedures.
• Payroll data integrity / legislative requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS

• Matric / NQF Level 3.
• 3-5 years payroll experience is essential.

ADVANTAGEOUS

• National Diploma (HR) or payroll administration
• 5 years’ relevant payroll experience
