Acctiva Accounting company opens jobs for Accountant positions in the Gauteng region. The type of work we provide is Full-time.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Resource planning with regards to deadlines, new client onboarding
• Information gathering (bank statements; third party supporting documents)
• Perform monthly bookkeeping, management accounts and payroll for clients
• Preparing annual financial statements for said clients mostly IFRS for SME
• Responsible for calculating VAT, PAYE and other necessary SARS requirements on a monthly basis
• Ensuring client regulatory compliance with CIPC / DoL / SARS
• Strong technical inclination with regards to accounting and tax principals
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying up to date on latest tax developments.
• Maintain excellent client relationships.
Advantageous qualities:
• AGA(SA) / SAIPA / CIMA member
• BCom degree
• Completed articles
• 3-5 years experience
• Experience with Xero/Simplepay/Draftworx/efiling
• Strong competency in a highly technological cloud-based environment
